Drivers
Research suggests that it is worth correlating your in-game drivers and motivation to professional ones. That might lead to more enjoyment every day at work. And doing what you enjoy is definitely a north star in a career.

In games, you enjoy learning new mechanics and improving corresponding skills. That's why in professional life, you're very interested in learning how things work and how to crack them. Next step: think of the next area in game (and in life) that you can explore.

You often play games to relax, as it helps to take you mind off tough real-life things. That's completely fine; a balance between work and relaxation is important. Just make sure that the balance is there. Otherwise, double check if you real-life is going the direction that you want it to.

You often play games simply to have fun, mess around, do silly things and to feel happier. That's great, who'd argue with that! As long as you are able to have fun via different activities. Fun is important in games, but also in work and life. Think how you can bring the feeling of joy and happiness to your every day life. Start with gamish things. Mess around in your flat. Speak to a person with a great sense of humour. Pursue habits, but break them too.

thoughts: My driver is learning which I find interesting. I like to learn new mechanics in games but my mind tends to wander after a while unless I’m really interested.
